Black,

The best way is outlined in Delta's Guide to Scouting (From Novice to Master). It's stickied to the top of this profession. It can answer your questions alot better than I can.

Black,

Basically the best thing to do if you want to be a creature handler is to get a large bat and smack yourself upside the head with it a few times until you decide you really want to be a ranger.

First of all, there's no "quick, supereasy" way to blast through the Scout tree. So get that expectation out of your head.

I'm not 100% familiar with Tatooine's creatures, but my suggestion is to go to the outkirts of Bespine or Mos Eisley and see some of the critters than con blue or light blue to you. Then go into town, grab a couple of missions for those kinds of lairs and then run out and do them. Kill everything you can and harvest everything.

If you want to get XP a bit faster, once the changes from test center get pushed onto live, try and find a group that's hunting Banthas or any of the larger creatures on Tatooine. You'll only get 60% of the XP, but with a larger group, you'll get the XP faster. (NOTE: This is not in the game yet...it will be by the end of next week.)

My only other word of advice is to not treat Scout like its a chore. It's a fun profession in and of itself, and you'll enjoy your time hunting if you set aside your long term CH wishes and focus on being a great scout.

Good hunting!
