I would like to harvest some wooley hide for the local armorsmiths. I'd like to harvest on either Lok, Dantooine, Yavin 4, Dathomir, or Endor (in that order of preference). Can anyone give me a good, plentiful, possibly mission terminal available, target on these planets that provides wooley hide.

langlatches on lok, but i am not sure how difficult they are now after their speed has been increased. go with a group.

Right now since the new patch the outer worlds in the areas around the outposts are nuts. Literally a lair every 25m in every direction in some areas. Your best bet for wooly on Yavin IV is Mamiels. Run thru any crowded lair area *with maskscent on * and it turns into a Battle Royal. For whatever reason I guess everything on Yain hates these things and they get attacked by everything around them. You can literally just stand there and pop the ones getting attacked and then run over and harvest and move on. Heck at one point I couldn't even keep up with all things getting trounced around me. Until of course my maskscent timer ran out, I didnt notice and got whomped into the ground by 5 giant crystal snakes. Also Mamiels dont social or aggro anymore so if you dont like the above route you can just take missions for them.

Is there a good area to hung langlatches ? i am having a terrible time getting any missions for them from the mission terminal. I did get one, but that was all I could find.

they seem to be all around the general vicinity of nym's stronghold. just cross over the river that runs around it and you should come across some. i would also suggest doing many refreshes on the mission terminal to get them as they do seem to be few and far between.

Quick update on my post, I'm on Yavin IV at the moment and Wooly Hides have an OQ of 96, bleh. So, you can save yourself 6600 credits on a ticket to Yavin and back.

Yup, this is perfect. So far I have, langlatches on lok, mamiels on Yavin IV, and huurtons on dantooine. The mamiels is probably the easiest. They do not pack attack and are non-aggro. The langlatches on lok are WAY below the curve for return on investment (risk, ticket cost, cloning cost, time, stim-b). The only disadvantage to Mamiels is depending on your level, it can be downright boring. You get 44 or 46 hides per male mamiel, and I think 38 from a female (this is with hunting 4, I had to drop master scout last night).The huurtons on Dantooine provide a little more excitement. I'm not sure which one I prefer more. Yavin wooley is nice because it can be used in an Advanced Padded Armor component. Dantooine has the creature handler advantage of having better tameable pets (quenkers) now that the kliknik's have stopped spawning babies.

Are there any good sources of wooley on Dathomir or Endor?
