Thread: Scout Camp Crafting XP?

I just noticed this on Test Center. Any word on what the hell this is?


This is separate and distinct from Wilderness Survival, Scout and Trapping XP.



Give me a shadowed forest into which I might disappear.
Give me a terrible foe and stack the odds against me.
Give me friends and creatures with whom I can share my adventures, my losses and my gains.
Let the gales blow and the world be torn asunder but don't make me stand alone against the tempest.

I'll have to go log my test center character in. Thats the first i heard of it



Canon Fodder - The former Ranger/CH now unplayed Smuggler
Down to one account and thats only because its a station pass
Currently a Droid Commander in City of Villians (really)

Okay - I just did some tests.


I don't see this at all.


I dropped a camp- got wilderness survival XP.


I crafting two camps - got the wilderness survival XP for them


I don't see a specific line that's seperate.


I'm not sure what's going on here- can you posta screenshot?

That's strange. Did you get it from crafting a camp or trap while not in a camp?

I don't get it.


That doesn't show up in my bar at all.


Can anyone else get on TC and double check this? Maybe my character is different since it's older.

I really have no idea. It could have been there since I first signed up with Test for all I know, I only spotted it in the last 2 days.


I'm gonna have to train in the Survival line because I'm capped on Wilderness Survival XP. I guess it might be denying me an XP grant because I'm already capped on XP for that action. It'd be weird to have one XP blocked by being capped on another but stranger things have happened.

Sure thing... I guess I gotta go figure out how from ImageDump...


I experimented with it and I have 36 of this particular type of XP. I can't make it go up by crafting or using any kind of camp or trap. I'll be back with the screenie...

Nope... not sure I even could find out about this without Dev intervention.


If Delta doesn't come up with the answer then I don't think anyone can.

Okay gang - got my answer.


It's not "new" XP. It's very, very old XP.


Apparently this is what they originally were calling the XP, before it became Wilderness Survival. Sometimes TC burps out the old XP rather than the correct for whatever reason. It's not a change, and it should be happening that often.


Just a little interesting quirk.
