I have a Master Ranger on one account and a Master Weaponsmith on another. I love Master Weaponsmith for the exact opposite reasons I love Ranger. Weaponsmith really is a job. You need to deal with harvestors, factories, and you'll need to either Master Merchant or get a Master Merchant friend.

Weaponsmith can be a TON of money. But you need to really enjoy the business aspect. At first things are going to be very slow. You probably won't make money for a few weeks and you'll need to do some advertising.

It can be very rewarding but it requires alot of work.

Scout is the same way if you're using it to raise credits. The more work you do the more credits you can raise. It's just a question of which is more fun for YOU.

Good luck with it.

yup i have a master weaponsmith one on server and a master ranger on another.

Weaponsmith, is basically a second job. The higher end weapons require "named" resources, most of which have very low stat-caps, so unless you are using the #1 or #2 server best resources than your weapons will not be as good as the servers top smiths who have been around since launch.

And as previously posted, it takes alot of time, many factory runs, and trust me, your inventory will be extremely full of resources, and components. I suggest you get familiar with a spreadsheet to keep track of what you have, and what you need.

But it is fun, i must admit that. but it is not the get-rich-quick profession that armoursmith is.
