You would have to pre-set the points that your pet would patrol to, and start the macro by /following. Then, you would need to have a "stay" command for your pet when it arrives at the patrol point. You would set your forage action to occur roughly 1 second after "Stay," and pause for the duration that it takes to finish the foraging of an item. I believe that it is 4 or 5 successes that deplete an area. After you are done foraging in one area, then tell your pet to begin patrolling again (you are still folowing the pet, btw) and to stop after an amount of time that it would take the pet to go between points, then run the foraging action again.
That should be how to do it. Thanks for the info, I didn't know that you could stack the new foraged items.
Might change your mind about... i cant believe im saying this.. AFK macroing foraging!?!!
Ack where has this game gone if we have BH's AFK'ing foraging?! (passes out)
Filling: 5
Duration 4.30
For all foraged goods! In which case... woa!
I second the afk macro thing though. You would be better off giving a contract to some baby scouts around Mos Eisley. Offer to pay them a certain amount for a backpack full of foraged food. You'll support the new players, the economy, interdependence, fun etc., and not encourage the zombie plauge.
The only reason that I was suggesting this information to the original poster was because they supplied information that I did not know of, and had a question which I could answer to repay their information.
BH's would not likely afk forage, because they think that reputation is everything and there are better foods out there. Of course, I doubt they are intelligent enough to even visit these forums
.
Sorry, I have a "thing" against BH's because of what the majority of them that I've seen have acted like. "Majority" being the key word.
Guess its time I dust Canon off and test that
Here's the macro I'll be using:
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
/forage;
/wait 5;
patrol;
/wait 15;
stay;
Then it repeats from the top.

Here is a better format to display it in. Again, nice work. I wish they would display these figures in percentages that we could actually understand

Wait Paks they changed the filling from 60 to 5? Which would actually make the foraged foods usable if they stack.
