I believe it is.


I was getting 12 units of meat from fat and healthy Zucca Boars. Last nite I got 17.


I was getting 15 units of meat off a fat and healthy Rogue Bantha. Last nite I got 24.


Un-grouped of course.

Its fixed trust me, went from 11 Leathery hides to 24 consistently.

I was receiving 67 hides from Bull Torturs last night, and 52 from regular Torturs. I did not group with my pet, as I fully expected that bug to still be in. So basically, we're halfway there Solo harvesting IS fixed, solo when grouped with a pet (and ONLY a pet) is not.

I think the group 60% harvest is going to remain to prevent ninja harvests and promote scouts grouping. Doesn't matter whether your grouped with pets or other players.

Of course, this is entirely pointless since I then simply don't group with my pets. I can still kill the same hard creatures, and get the higher harvest. This just makes this "feature" silly and it should be removed. The loss of being able to see my pets stats is easily outweighted by the additional chunk of meat/hides/bones that I get.

Bah, easier fix to ninja harvesting is a sysmsg:

NinjaDudeXX has harvested the corpse of a frail squall!
You tell the group: Hey, NinjaDudeXX, please let others have a chance to harvest!
NinjaDudeXX has harvested the corpse of a flesh eating chuba!
You tell the group: C'mon now, NinjaDudeXX, there are others waiting.
NinjaDudeXX has harvested the corpse of a nightspider!
You have kicked NinjaDudeXX from the group.
NinjaDudeXX says, 'invite pls'

Done and done. A group that doesn't mind that sorta behaviour can take him in. A group that does will soon kick him out. People that dislike it will avoid grouping with him.

Personally, I love the approach taken to prevent ninja looting: now NOONE in the group can loot! Er. Or maybe not.

That's fine when you wait until after everything is dead to harvest. However, in a middle of a fight with one or more creatures it would be easy to miss a group tell or system message. I doubt most ninja looters would be bothered by the thought of quickly dropping out of combat to harvest out of turn. I also like this change because it allows people that don't like soloing to harvest resources more effectively, reguardless of if they want experience or resources. One of my first groups in SWG was four scouts hunting paralopes and vynocks.Luckly we were all reasonable about looting order, but even then it was a bit annoying and the experience was appreciably slower then we could do alone. The group change is a good one, but the bug that accompanied it was a real pain.

Harvesting's working fine for me now, as it was before the nerfpatch.
