Is there a good method to get Survival XP fast?

I'm basically just making camps, sitting in them for 10-15 minutes and disbanding them.

Any tips or tricks anyone knows would be of great help.

There is no speedy way to get Survival xp, at least not that I've found. There are 3 ways to get it:

Making camps, setting camps, and fishing.

The only one that you can make a hands-off macro for is setting camps. However, it looks like they've changed the way xp is awarded. At one point, xp was determined strictly by how long the camp was up before it was either disbanded, abandoned, or the timer ran out. That's now been changed, apparently. Some people used to set two full toolbars up with a camp in each slot, macro one of them to be set every 30 mins. or so, and leave the computer unattended. That's 12 hours worth of camping for 4200 xp if you are using Basic Camps, and it went up from there.

It's still being tested, but each successive camp now appears to give less and less xp. This all depends on how you are using them. If BF, wounds, damage, etc. are healed while the camp is set up, this changes things (although no one is quite sure how it works, yet). Not sure if camp visitors effect the anti-macro aspects. I suspect they don't, but that's just a guess.

Can you imagine the outcry if combat xp was gained at this rate?

The quickest way is to get a group together. 5 people in a camp usually means it'll be maxed in about 5 minutes.

I grinded out almost 40K of camping xp yesterday to complete my Master Ranger status. What I did was set up camp outside Anchorhead with a boatload of material and grinded camps while setting up a new camp every 20 minutes or less depending on the amount of visitors. And I got a lot of visitors hehe.

Another idea is to set up your camp at the base of the stairs of a bridge outside a major city such as Theed. This tends to drive up your visitor count pretty quickly.

Another popular idea is to set up outside a major fighting area such as the Tusken fort and perhaps even hire doctors and entertainers.

Heh...kill stuff in between camping.

Do a bit of crafting while you camp. I found a really cool thing for me to do was survey for a resource. Set up a camp at the highest %. Sample until I can't sample anymore, sit, make some stuff, sample and repeat. Makes it a little more interesting.

Or...you could just "grind" and be bored out of your mind.
