Thread: Ever find anything cool when foraging?
I hear you can find rare Ites fter you become a Ranger when foraging. Anyone find anything cool yet?
When they say rare, I imagine something like a valuable piece of jewelry someone lost ages ago or some such thing as that... what's it all about?
So I hear rangers can forage rare items, does this mean jewelry or other kinds of lost items?
What exactly does it mean?
Nope, not yet.
From what I hear, if you do find something rare, the system throws it because of a bug. It says something to the effect of "your foraged goods were discarded because your inventory was full." I haven't had it happen to me yet, but I have read other posts about it.
NO
Also realize that people who fish are also supposed to occasionaly catch a rare item and there is also supposed to be a chance at catching junk or garbage...
So a bug prevents it.
I'm not surprised, isn't everythingin the ranger skilltree bugged to hell?
Omaru,
Only if you are listening to the whiners.
75% of the Ranger skillset is fine. The other 25% needs work. But don't worry - it'll get there.

Dmedic,
Well, it depends on who you talk to. ![]()
The most buggy part of the profession are the /conceal kits. They aren't working as well as we expected them to.
Melee Rangers don't get a to-hit modifier like their ranged brethren do.
The traps are basically useless, and we're waiting on a promised redesign of the trapping line from the Devs.
Those are the major bugs. Camps, /areatrack, the terrain and harvesting bonuses, etc. are all working fine.
