I'm sure many people out there may have already done this.....

I receive a waypoint from an NPC to a pirate base on Naboo, which was said to have great treasures. The NPC recommended bringing friends (group) since I'm sure this would be a dangerous place.

Has someonereceived and completedthis type of missionand what types of treasure are there?

Anyone interested in grouping and trying it out? I'm usually online between 6-10PM EST on Sunrunner.

Thanks,

Chekula

Bah...if you were on Bloodfin, I'd tag along.

Good luck to you though.

BTW, you do know Sept. 19th is 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' right?

Did you get this from a standard mission term? Also, what level do they appear? I usually pass over these types of missions since I also need Scout XP and you can't get that from an NPC.

Hmmmm, harvesting NPCs. Maybe a Cannibal line of profession?

As far as I've managed to figure out, these are the 'Herald NPCs' who give you waypoints to static POIs, themeparks, dungeons etc..

There's a whole bunch that I found on Dath.. Always led to deadly deadly places though

I came across the dungeon on my travels through Naboo, and returned later with a friend. I did not receive the mission from Theed (or wherever the mission comes from) so I don't know how that affects the bounty.

****I don't know if anyone would consider this a spoiler, minor as it is, but you've been warned if you want to figure this stuff out for yourself.****

Pretty much all the pirates there conned blue and white to me solo, and a little less with my bounty hunter friend. A couple yellow cons appeared. For reference, I'm a Ranger with about five Pistoleer boxes filled and a well-sliced FGW5 (FWG5?). My friend and I cleaned out the place pretty easily, but there was no loot of worthiness. There are three "nobles" inside that you can talk to to rescue, and each gives the rescuer -- and only the rescuer -- 250 combat xp. There are approximately 6-8 empty containers inside, but none were filled with anything. Hopefully, that would be different if the mission is received officially.

Hope this helps.

I once killed a looted a bunch of humanoid NPCs on Naboo--sorry, I can't remember the faction--and one of them dropped a waypoint to some "buried treasure" and some kind of"digging device,"IIRC. When I got to the waypoint, the radial menu on the device allowed me to dig up the treasure. As soon as I did, several NPCs spawned and aggroed me. I killed them all without much trouble and retrieved the "treasure." It was a locked container with some useless junkin it.
