I am getting alittle irrate that the highest mission I can get is level 12 on either a normal mission or explorer terminals. I only have 2 skill boxes into pistolleer, but I am a MCH so I can do much higher, I just can't get the missions. I wish that when looking for missions you could had like a slider that could set the mission levels your looking for.

It is a pain. One thing that you could do is hit the tougher planets. I think there need to be more exploration terminals on the tough planets, personally. I think I'll add that to my list, actually.

You can trick the system into giving you harder missions.

The system will give you hard missions if you have a gun equipped, than if you don't. The higher level gun you have, the more damage you'd theoretically do with it, and the missions refresh harder. Try to pick up an old, used LLC or scatter pistol. Even if you don't have the cert for it. The system doesn't know or care whether you are cert for it.

Then hold that gun while using the mission terminal.

You should get higher missions.

Hmmm... you have a confirmation of this? I have a new type LLC (after Sept patch) and am about 13K from Novice BH. Like the original poster I'm sick of level 11-12 missions so I equipped my LLC and I got the same level missions just lower payout.

To the original poster: Did you try grouping with your highest level pet when you look for missions on the terms? I have a full grown male kaadu which gives me a little more money per mission, but, doesn't increase mission levels. But, I would imagine with a higher level pet you could get level 20 missions or higher.

You may want to consider going to Lok or Dantooine. Don't go to Endor, you'll be waaay over your head there. I went there, walked off the shuttle, went to the mission terms: all level 60 missions. Walked around a little and scouted some critters: 9K HAM, 10K HAM, deathblow = yes, aggro. No thanks. I went back to Naboo with my tale between my legs. I would try Lok if I were you. That's a fun planet.

Actually, I was on Lok when I got the lvl 12 mission, but it was from an explorer terminal. The normal mission terminal ranges between lvl 25-50 but most of them seem to be pirate missions. Snorbals no longer seem to come up, so finding herb meat is now alittle harder since you have to hunt harder for them. Normaly I don't bother with explorer missions since the effort involved rarely matches the reward, but I needed to gather resouces and I hoped to find snorbals on it, but I could only get lvl 12 missions, best I could get was a langlatch mission. Ended up working out, since wooly hide right now is all over 800 atm.

I just wish you could set the level of the mission you want. As far I can tell the game only checks what weapons skill you have, although when I get home tonight I will try different guns to see if that helps. I had a FWG5 when I grab my missions this morning, I will try a DX2 later, I will also try having a pet grouped, but don't think that increases the level, just the payout alittle, sort of a grouping bonus.
