Drak,
It's a known bug. It means that you've harvested 3 items at once. There's no work around. Just keep foraging.

As far as I know I can't forage 3 at once according to the description of scouting, I can only forage 2 at once right now. /shrug

I've heard you get the same message when you forage one of the non-existant rare items. You found one, but they don't exist, so you get the message. Be happy you found one, be mad you can't get it.
It's a bug, it's been reported and they are working on it, but don't hold your breath, you will turn all blue.

but you used to be able to get three because i would do it all the time, that is before a few updates ago and it became broken as it currently is. if you keep trying you should still get 1 or 2 items as normal. good foraging.
