So you go out for hours and harvest 5k worth of hide -- sell it on the bazaar or to someone who's asking for it for 6cr per unit. 30k or 40k for you... not bad right?

Here's the tip of the day...harvest Herbivore meat. Good herbivore meat is in such high demand for medics and doctors because it's required for them to make their strongest medicines, that they're willing to pay 8-10cr per unit or evenmoreif the quality is good. Heck, some of them will pay 15-20cr per unit if they're rich.

If you have 2k of herbivore meat, do a search for any "Doctor" near you andmsg that doc and ask if he wants it. I guarantee you will have a salewithin 5 minutes and a HUGE profit.

So the tip of the day for scouts is: If you want to make REAL money, stop harvesting hide and startharvesting Herbivore meat for doctors. Herb meat is wherethe big $$$ is at.

If making money easy no one would be homeless......

The problem is the quality of the meat and finding actual herbivore meat not some other kind. No one wants to pay for 200 quality meat

Yes, when it comes to Avian meat, that is used for Enhance kits (buffs) and for those, anything under 900OQ is not ideal... But when it comes to Herbivore meat, even 500OQ will do great if you can get a large enough quantity. Don't believe me? Collect 2k and msg a nearby doc. You'll see.

Really I get asked more for avian meat with OQ over 900 anything less then that won't get top dollar. Depending on your server making money is not that fast, if I can make 100k ina week thats a awesome week.

Avian bone, avian meet are both needed as well.

Alot of organics are needed for medic professions. The avian bone is for Armor smiths making Chittin I believe.

so let me ask you this, what happens when the doctors then charge more for their buffs and heals because scout gouged them on the resources? Yes it is about making money, but it is also about not creating inflation with in the game.

Kaspars,

Agreed.

The best people to "gouge" are the ones that have the most sought after wares - armorsmiths. They can pay more, and generally are more willing to pay more, that Doctors, who generally don't make money off their buffs.

All creature harvested organics are paying well on Corbantis (5-15 cpu depending on quality).

Herb meat is not in higher demand than good scaley or so-so wooly. Of course herb meat is required for good medicine, but so is good scaley for armor and any wooly for tailors.

Messaging a doc doesn't guarantee a huge profit. I've had docs haggle with me just like any novice artisan.

The 'real' money is in running a fair and profitable business that's diverse, not pinning your hopes on selling to one profession. That is why Delta's sticky 'here's what the crafter's want' is so valuable!

I know its weird but I make more money off of my survey skills than off hide, meats combined.

I have build up a client list of Master Craftsman that want to know where to place their Haveasters and Solar and Nuke powerplants. I watch for when the resources shift and hit the different planets looking for whatthey want! Soon I have good high grade spots (Not in hills or mountains) And the cash rolls in. I normally get 20K per spot of resources over 70%. And I can sell that info more than once. So on a resource shift day I can make 100 - 200K. I get extra for placing Hav's 4 them. I do that on Lok for the wild wheat. Most Craftsman can't even get out of Nym's Strong Hold much less survey with all those spawns.

While it is a few extra skill points survey has paid off for me.

You don't have to buy a deed for the land first and sell the deed?

How do you buy the deed?

I've found some 69% spots for gas right next to a town. Didn't realize could make money off off of that knowledge.

Visit my home vendor in Downtown Honors Keep on Lowca Server - Corellia at wp [2685] [-1260] for resources, Tailored items, as well as other stuff. Shuttle service is available.

A "deed" allows you to set up a building or harvester. You don't have to buy the land. Deeds are made byartisans or architects.

It's true that if you place a harvester, you will be able to see what resources are available in that spot and in what concentrations. However, a much easier way to survey for resources is to become a novice artisan and use an appropriate survey tool.

The problem with deeds is that structures cannot be placed too near a town, on a steep slope or in water. So you not only have to find a good concentration of a good resource, the spot also has to be one where you can place a structure.

Avian bone is used in Tantel armor actually. Don't bother harvesting it though. You are far better off getting the Avian meat.
Really no demand for Tantel Armor.
