This from the update notes for the patch update being implemented on the Test Centre :
Ranger: The flora component of camo kits has been removed.
Ranger: Camo kits now yield more uses and have a wider experimentation range.
Ranger: Camo kits now work properly when crafted in a factory.
Ranger: The duration for conceal has been fixed, it was half what it should have been.
Rangers are now notified when a creature begins to stalk them.
Scout: Mask Scent / Conceal is now properly removed when you initiate combat.
Scout: When examining creatures, the "Aggressive" trait will now be correct.
Scout: A novice scout can now examine a creature to determine if it is a "Stalker."
Scout/Ranger: Non-aggro creatures will not attack you when mask scent or conceal breaks.
Scout/Ranger: Aggro creatures will only attack you when mask scent or conceal breaks if you are within 40 meters.

ok, what is a "stalker" creature?
Stalking is a behavior that some carniverous creatures can do. Basicly when they detect you they don't charge right at you, instead they come towards you slowly in a non-direct path. I don't know if this is limited to aggressive creatures or not, but I've only noticed it with agressive creatures.
Stalkers will also kill you, even if they are not aggro towards you. For example: I get incapped by a bunch of giant dalyrakes. They don't have deathblow so they wander away. A Greater Sludge Panther who has been watching from nearby walks over and, even though he isn't aggro towards me, delivers the deathblow.Ak! Actually I can't remember if GSPs have deathblow,it might have been a wrix... some nasty cat.

"Scout: Mask Scent / Conceal is now properly removed when you initiate combat."
Does that mean when I initiate combat mask scent will be removed? Because right now I usually drain most of a critter's HAM before it even charges me. It makes sense they would do this... but that sucks. ![]()
