I'm not sure if it came from my Scout skills or my Artisan skills (I'm working on both skillsets simultaneously) but I have some food recipes that call for "Cereal" and I'm wondering where I can find it. I've never run across anything I'd call cereal while foraging unless "cereal" is a blanket term for a group of foraged foods (which is my assumption).
Anyone know where I can get this stuff so I can keep some food buffs handy?
Thanks

Cereal refers to certainorganic flora resources like wheat, oats, rice and corn. To get these, you need to sample them using a survey tool, grow them using a flora farm or buy them from someone. As far as I know, you can't get this stuff by foraging.

AHA!
So I should use my Flora Surveying tool...
I've been carrying that @(*$& tool for a week and never tried it. I'm such a disgrace to Artisana and Scouts.
/me hands Maddo the foam cluebat and requests a beating.

If you have any medical skill, you should also be able to "medical forage" for these types of resources, I was. Of course, the flora survey will be easy for you to track them down.

I have been able to medical forage for cereal but it was very difficult to get a desent amount to make anything. What I'm trying to say is that for example my first try would give me cereal, second try flowers, third try wood. On top of that when I would start to come up with the same thing, they wouldn't stack in my inventory automaticly. Although it has been a while since I have used Medical Forage. Has that problem changed or is it still the same.
