Thread: How Does a CL 80 Go Up in Trapping?

I am CL 80 and I want to master Scout and Ranger... Can someone explain how I go about getting trapping exp? I read the guide saying trapping 2 should trap cl 20 mobs so I am doing cl 15 and getting 2 exp per mob.. Is there anything else I can do?
Please help!

nevermind I see this is impossible. wonderful time for me to deceide to switch to scout and ranger... wonderful time to offer a gift that scouts can't use. well thought again SOE.

So I droped MBH and M carb so that I can get trapping exp... and guess what? Now I get 150 trapping exp from the cl 19 bols I grind. Wow and thats during double exp week. I gotta say I am so glad I made the change.
Yes this is only long complaint thread,thanks for reading it...

i ran into the same problem but i think im gonnaconvert faction to trapping seeing as faction is easy to get in space.

I was hoping to get Ranger xx4x very soon, but i am not gonna drop below cl 80.
Is there a cofirmed way to get Trapping xp at cl 80, as an scout 4xxx, it doesnt matter how small?

you need to be able to "stick" a trap on critters that are NOT grey to you in oreder to get trap exp. I personnally had to drop over 50 CL points to do so. Truly a pain.

Except you can't convert faction points to skill exp any more... Already thought of that.

Do you at least have a novice combat profession cert? If so, get novice medic back.. it's INCREDIBLY useful at a lower lvl for soloing. Get some armor that you can wear... yeah it'll slow you down, but since you'll be tanking you'll want it. Also, use multiples of traps that don't add states such as the Glow Juice and Stink Bomb traps. I am lvl 21 after mastering scout *solo* with novice carbineer/0100 pistoleer/0444 marksman/0010 medic/0303 Entertainer for my own inspiration buffs since I hate trying to find ents on Rori. Go after lvl 18-19 tortons. I was seriously getting around 800-1k trapping xp depending on how much I had to heal for each torton... depending on how many heals I had to give myself. Anywho, hope this helps. Yeah it sucks, but if you really want it, you'll do it.
