Hey, I don't get the trapping part with all the nightspiders. It doesn't make any sense. And the only thing i am having trouble with is trapping and uh, that other thing. Not explorer or hunting, the other thing.

I know it has been said over 100 times easy, but thanks for writing this guide, I am finding it very useful.

As a Novice Scout working your way up through the Trapping line, the fastest way to get XP is to use the chef food Dweezel. It adds a significant modifier to Trapping for 10-12 minutes, and you can easily use traps on creatures far above your regular level. Just make sure you have the combat skills to kill them when they come after you.
For example, last night I was on Dantooine hunting huurton huntresses, but they were immune to my traps at the Novice skill. After using Dweezel, I was able to throw traps at them for 335 XP per trap--which meant I got Trapping I in three traps. At Trapping I, you have four traps, total, and if all four stuck to a huntress, that was only four more creatures to toss traps at. Just make sure you have someone to train you (or a trainer nearby) since you get enough XP to train quickly. If you can quickly kill the creatures, too, you can easily get Trapping I-IV in one or two doses of Dweezel.
A word of caution, though: you'll have trouble finding Dweezel on chef vendors. I had to go to an established Master Chef I knew as vendors weren't panning out, and he'd never made it despite being a chef for the better part of a year. There's just no demand for it, so most won't make and stock it. You won't need much to power through the Trapping line, though.

DONE!
Paks - I don't think the Novice Guide needs to be updated, because the tutorial and droid quests pretty much make the low level game easy. You can just unsticky that one.
Also - let TH know that this is done. If he needs it in a different format, I can email it to him.

Awesome Delta! I will forward the link right away - it looks beautiful, as usual! You ever want to give up that running the country gig I could get you a good spot as a tech writer!
I looked over the novice guide last weekend with an eye towards editing it but it felt like sacrilege. /grin
