Thread: Advice on weapon selection

I'm CL7, Novice Scout 3.2.1.0 and novice Markman 2.2.3.2. Same weapons as from the beginning. But now i'm facing problems just beating green codedcreatures. My riffle (aimed shot) can do - if I'm lucky - 80 damage. On the other hand my targets seldomly do less than 100 damage. What can I do ? (cheap cheap !) Thx in advance.

Go to the bazaar and do a search. In the upper right hand orner there should be little toggle buttons that will let you choose to search locally, anywhere on planet, or anywhere in the galaxy.
Below these toggle buttons there are some drop down menus. If you choose the "weapons" category you will be able to choose a weapon type and see all the weapons of that type for sale.
Click on a weapon you would like to examine and click on the "Details" button. The stats you want to look for are level and certs required, Damage Per Second (DPS), speed and (of course price). Find the highest level weapons you are certed to use and make sure there are no skill box requirements (like Master marksman), then compare the DPS, speed and price of those weapons and pick the best one. You want as high DPS and as low speed as you can get.
If you can't find enough weapons to choose from make sure you click the toggle buttons to search in a larger area. You may even have to go off planet to pick up the weapon if it is one you really want.

I'm on the Tarquinas server. And thanks for the advice - I will study the bazaar (like a puzzle - takes some time to get used to!)

Once you find a good weapon, concentrate in that one weapon. Currently you are ok in Guardsman, but the other weapons, be it rifle, carbine or pistol, are not all that high. Pick one, the one you like best, and concentrate in that. You will become more proficient quicker that way, get more shots, and be able to cause more damage.

Thanks for the good advice. Asa Scout I intend to focus on riffle. So I looked for a DLT20A riffle. Just to see what price level that will be in amd how many thousand hides i will cost: There is no one in the intire Tarquinas Galaxy

Anyone know where they are hiding ?
