You get scout xp from camping and no survival xp for crafting, or at least none that I can see.

My survival xp is empty. Stays that way. I checked after crafting in a camp, got nothing.

Unless you get scout xp for camp and trap crafting. And no, no general crafting either.

I took a break immediately following the CU, so I'm sorry if this is another CU/Noob question. Has Survival XP been replaced with Scout XP? Do I now earn Scouting XP by camping and crafting camps? Or is it Scouting XP from camping and General Crafting XP from camp crafting?

You need Scout XP to train the Camping line now. I have no idea what xp you get from crafting camps. It may even still be survival XP.

I think it is scout xp from camping and... nothing? from crafting I think. I have not looked at the crafting part since the CU Beta.

Edit: On second thought I think you still get survival xp from crafting and it converts on your next log-in?

Last night I crafted a few camps. I earned Wilderness Survival XP for it. When I logged on this morning I found that my Wilderness XP had been converted to Scouting XP. Wilderness XP cap still seems to be determined by your Survival skills level. I have no Survival skill boxes and my Wilderness XPappeared to be capped at 500. Seems kinda silly to me. Ah well.... I suppose there are bigger issues that need the attention more than this one.

LOL I'd never crafted enough to see there was still a cap. But, yup, any wilderness survival XP you get from crafting a camp is converted to scout XP when you log.

Ur wilderness survival skill trees are ascertained through scouting xp...thank god. Pre Cu camping xp drove me to the quit profession, as there is no need for camps when we have vehicles. IGN ISCIR
