I feel that I'm probably doing something wrong here... But I've been trying again and again, and I can't find anyway to fulfill that kind of mission.
As the Explorer Mission Terminal on Mos Eisley is right behind the Scout trainer, my guess was that these kind of terminals were meant for Scouts.
But if I take any Huntingmission on that same terminal, I always end up on the very same waypoint! Which is actually the Spynet Operative guy, who's standing in front of the Squill cavern.
If I'm not mistaken, thoses guys are meant for BH. So does that mean that Hunter missions are also meant for BH? But in that case the Scout can't have any Hunting mission!!!
Anyway, the waypoint beiing always the same doesn't bother me, it's just that there's never the tiniest creature around that matches the mission...
So I gave it a try on Naboo, to see if that was linked to the terminal or the planet. But Iended up with the same issue. My waypoint was a "dead center" house, with a city around... So I deceided to go around and hunt for the species that was assigned to me. But when I finally found some, the counter wasn't increasing when I was killing the beasts...
I guess, that must be me who's getting it completly wrong, as I can't find any kind of post around of people complaining about that. But please don't be to harsh, and please give me a nice explaination so I can have some fun!
Cheers.

Explorer Mission terminal missions have been worthless for a long long long time (ironically in a galaxy far far away). The WP shouldnt show up. The missions are for you to FIND and kill a certain number of THE EXACT TYPE. This is so you use your scouting skills (yes i know tracking is a Ranger skill but play along) to find the creatures.
So if you see a reasonably high paying explorer mission to kill Carnivorious Nuna's on Naboo. No other Nuna except for the rare Carnivore. Pay close attention to the name of the beast.
Now it used to be a decent tactic (and we are talking in the dark days of the original release back before Hayden Christianson uttered his faithful NOOOOOOOOOOOOO) that you could take one of the explorer missions then take a normal mission for the type of creature in your explore mission. And then just milk the lair until you got your required number. Whether you can still do this or not is up to you.
But the lesson is... well there really isnt one. There not worth a dingo's fetid kidney to take

Broken?
You mean I have been taking these missions which don't name a beast, but which I must find, and kill a rather large amount of, for a paltry amount of credits -- for naught??
I am apalled, I am taken aback, I am afronted, I am beside myself -- oh hell, I got lost again - anyone see me? Anyone... anyone... Bueller... Bueller...

Who is JB? Well he's the non-blue glowie. He's the former magical happy fun time scout correspondent who got us through the alpha.
He's just plain JB
And i was mistaken JB. I had thought they were broken from posts.

Say, why isn't JB a blue glowie? I was wondering about that, but up until now I've been too incurious to ask. But it's late, and I'm bored. So spill.
Oh, and explorer terminals are worthless. Believe it or not, but panhandling would actually be a more productive and dignified use of your time.

JB has a way with words and he picked a fight during the alpha program with the devs. Believe it or not he didnt lose the fight. Between himself and Owens they won the battle. But JB doesnt understand the idea of tact. Although to be honest he did what needed to be done. When Brisc nominated him for correspondent it was with the idea that JB doesn't hold back. And he fought very hard for the Scout community.
So as a correspondent he got banned from the forums. He lost his correspondent position and didnt get his blue glowie tag. But he is one of a group of past correspondents without the blue glowie tag.
So as much as I thought it was odd that they picked JB for the position when he got it. He did a fine job as our correspondent. If the devs or the community managers had reviewed his posts they would have seen what they were getting. JB never hid from anything and still doesn't.
