Hi fellow scouts. I'm on Naboo and am looking for Wooly hides. Does anyone know what critters drop these on Naboo? or on any other planet if not available there? Thanks for your help.

Wooly Hides come off of Banthas. I got some last night by accident just outside of Mos Espa, Tatooine by helping some guy getting pounded on by a Rogue Bantha. I got just enough shots off to be able to Harvest before the "friendly" Stormtroopers saved my butt. Watch out when the get pissed and charge!!!

Gualamas (horse-like creatures) are also an excellent source of wooly hides; they are abundant on Rori but I'm not sure about Naboo.

Just go to Corellia---plenty of wooly creatures there.

i got some yesterday near moenia on naboo. not sure what i got them from, though. i'll go check and post later.

just a quick aside: you can /examine mobs and it will tell you what type of hides and meat they drop.

Try Durnis on Corellia. They're little rabit-like creatures. Best thing is they're slow as all get out so you can kite to your hearts content. I especially like the crazed Durnis. Got 13 wooly hide a pop off of them.

Yes, on Corellia, Durnis and Paralopes have wooley hides. Crazed Durnis seem to drop the most at a time. Don't be fooled by how they /con either. They are slow and if you use a blaster, keeping distance between you and them is easy.

My wookiee routinely hunts paralopes on Talus. He's made more money taking double missions to destroy paralope lairs and paralope herd (more paralopes) lairs than from the actual sales of wooly hides. Destroy missions also make them easier to find in the first place.

I'm a tailor and i'm working on novice pistoleer at the moment and i'm not sure what i can hunt that will give me wooly hides. I know bantha's and some things on Yavin can drop them but i can't take those out yet. Any suggestions/help? Thanks guys & girls.

You might try www.swgcreatures.com and look for things in a CL level that is appropriate for your level.

Things like huurtons (Dant)and gualamas (naboo/Rori) are not very tough, don't db (well, the "basic" huurtons don't at least, the tougher ones do), and give a decent amount of wooly. Also, and this may sound strange, you can actually get a lot of wooly hide by hunting durnis on corellia. If you find a "wild" lair (i.e. non-mission lair) there are like 50 durnis in those and you'll come away with a good sized stack of hide.

Paralopes, fuzzy lil can't hurt anyone paralopes, drop wooley. And herbie for that matter.

Course, you will be killing a buttload to get a decent stack, but hey...more power to ya.
