Thread: First Group Hunt last night! (Long)

Hey everyone,
With my template/gamestyle change, I've decided I want to go through the ranks & become a Master Ranger. My history is TONS of PvE with a small bit of PvP. Usually I get waxed in PvP due to not doing it that often. After many nights just randomly hunting & killing, I figured might as well make this fun. With what other proffesion can you pinpoint exactly what animal you're looking for to hunt? I can not wait to start organizing more hunting groups like last night. On to the story.
I was originally hunting around my new home in X'anadu Bay. Eclipse Hunting Society recently accepted me into their guild so I was getting a feel for the neighborhood. I remembered reading somewhere on these forums yesterday about helping Noob hunting groups in Mos Eisley. After spamming around for 20 min or soin Mos Eisley trying to organzie a group, I ran into DeathGod. He sends me a message asking to get trained in Master Sword Offense & Master Swords. I gladly obliged. I informed him after training that I was organizing a group to hunt on Endor. We join up & make the shuttle trek to the Smuggler Outpost. On the way through Theed I sent a /shout about the group organizing. Giff, a Master Doc responds & asks to join. The 3 of us group & head to Endor. As soon as we arrive in Endor, Tremite, another Master Doc groups w/ us. 2 Master Swordsman & 2 Master Docs, can we be stopped? lol
We quickly pull 8 missions in the same direction & head out. We easily carve our way through any monster group we come across. There were even a few lucky spawns of Blorg Raptors, Ihave never seen or heard of these. 2000 Scout Xp & over 400 units of Carnivore meat each. Needless to say, everyone got their resources, plus signifigant Scout/Combat Xp. During the process of hunting, we took several breaks to heal damage & poison. I was loving the Survival Xp generated from camping w/ a group. Roughly 2 hours into the fight I get a /tell from FurryBandit, a guildmate who wanted in on the fun, he's a Novice Pistoleer/Chef. After roughly 3-4 hours of constant slaughter, our group eventually disbanded. I would like to thank all those that joined the group & made this my first ever time looking forward to logging on next. I never thought the grind through Survival could have been so fun. Tonight I have the last box in Survival before I become a Master Scout. I know that with all the extra Xp I grabbed last night, I should be able to have Novice Ranger before I log off tonight.
