Thread: Trapping Lvl 4

At last I have got my trapping lvl 4, I now can make adhesive mesh but I need Polymer...whats polymer?
That was 2 weeks ago and I still cant find any and anyone I ask has no idea what it is. Can anyone pleasetell me
a) where can I get some?
b) do I need to make it?
c) can I use anything else for this trap?

go to a baazar or resource vendor and buy some. make sure you only spend 1 or maybe 2 cpu for it, and get a stack of 1k if you can.
you can make fishing poles with it too

To add to the fishing pole line. If your making poles with it look for high UT Polymer to make a better fishing pole. Although the debate over the effect of a good fishing pole in relation to fishing is a whole other thread.

You weren't asking on Tatooine or Mos Eisley, were you? 
And I don't know if anyone said this, but you have to sample it or lay down a harvester and get some out of the ground.

Or, buy it, but when you look on the bazaar, look galaxy-wide for it.

Depending on how advanced your current template is. It might help to pick up Artisan and grab a chem survey device.
For the time being you can learn a bit about harvesting that chem by looking for it in the Survey device and even doing some sampling while getting your Camping xp. Just find a concentration of any Polymer, drop your camp, and start sampling while you rake in the Camping xp. Over the course of one full camp cycle you'll probably pull enough polymer for a number of traps (depending on the concentration).
It'll also save you some money and give you something tod o while you're camping.
