Just a few of my scouting pet peeves that I would like to see them fix in the near future.

Milking distance should be expanded to 15m like taming pets or sampling DNA. I know, it probably isn't as realistic, but with creatures that slide, warp, or just do wierd things (like move up into a tree), it would make milking be much less painful. Throw onto that the fact that sometimes you get the out of range message at 2m and it is enough to drive you nuts. So, while 15m may not be realistic, it would make the game play much smoother.

Make milk stack automatically. They can do it with meat, why not milk?

Make eggs stack automatically. Same as above.

Mask scent. Come on, at some point in the scout tree, kreetles should lose the ability to break mask scent.

Especially helpful on large creatures where the milkin' parts are greater than 5m from wherever the system determines distance from. On some creatures I can stand on the udders and the display says I'm 8m from the gal.

I agree whole heartedly with the first two suggestions. There's no reason for eggs and milk not to stack.

As for the third, if the pattern goes in hand with some of the other skills, there will always be a percentage of failure with Mask Scent there will always be a chance for Kreetles to break it. I don't see any reason to change that, unless it's found that the failure chance is too high.

Agree on the milking distance part. I hate when a ronto or piket is laying down and I start to milk it and it does that look up thing, and I get the message saying its too far away. What?! Damn thing didn't even move, how could it suddenly be too far away??


Or the burst run bit they do. I was trying to milk some gurnasats on Lok the other day, and they kept doing that. I'd just finish the 2nd 'You continue milking...' message and zoom, off like a shot for 50m. Got so pissed I just shot them down soon as they'd start running. Was working up such a sweat that I was drinking all the milk I was gathering....
