Knocked out the remaining Survival IV last night and finally earned the vaunted title of Master Scout.
Thanks to the many who have posted on this board and to Brisc for his fantastic Guide to Scouting. I used this extensively. Thanks to JB who said "go out and have FUN". I used this advice last night in putting together a novice/new playerhunting party in Anchorhead to facilitate the completion of Survival IV. It was fun, somewhat of a cluster at times with people getting incapped, but it provided ample opportunity to camp, heal, craft adhesive mesh and bs around. Additionally, it offered a valuable opportunity to earn AP as well, as party members picked up rifles II, traps I and other quals on the way.
This is a great community and I look forward to the road to Master Ranger!

Billy,
Congratulations! Welcome to the Master Scout club.
That's actually a good idea, Julak. You get a two parter, Billy. First - debug Julak's computer. I think he's got a bad case of the kreetles, so don't expect your mask scent to help you at all. Second part, talk to Hakai- he just lost his still and he needs a new one. He'll tell you where to set it up so those darn Imperial Revenuers don't come and take it.
I'm glad you're going Ranger. It always makes me happy to see more of those. I'm glad my guide helped, and we're always here if you need help on the way up the ranks.

okay BilleyTalent...
I'm thinking of planting my still in a nice quiet spot....find me one that is acceptable and we shall give you a nickname to go with your title......
oh yeah, and Delta; i also need someone to pick up some endorian coniferous wood for me. Toss that at the next master!
(P.S. it needs to be fertilized with melek dung, so he'd better be a fast one.....)

Brisc,
More than happy to take on the quests mentioned! Though, at first I was worried. I misread the message and thought I was being asked to debug Julak. Now I'm not an expert on the matter, but "debugging" a wookie must be extremely time consuming given the length of their coat. Especially if it hand to be done by hand, and not with a modified Bugbomb cryo grenade or something dreamed up by an imaginative weaponsmith. But his comp shouldn't be a problem.
The second task for Hakai though is right up my alley. Stills and the positioning thereof to avoid the Revenuers I am uniquely qualified to handle coming from a long, distinguished line of Hillbillys myself (Resume' available upon request). Hakai, I suggest I take this on during the next new moon phase.
