This MAY be something that everyone knows already... but...

I got exploration 3&4 AND Huhting 3,4 and Novice CH... that's 5 (count 'em FIVE) levels of Scouting XP in a little over an hour today!

I maskscented... jumped on my swoop and rode around the Research Outpost on Endor gathering scouting XP like strawberries in the newly fallen dew of the endorian forests!

What I would suggest is that you first pay the cost for some decent "+Maskscent" clothing! Then head to Endor. Activate the waypoints for the surrounding ewok villages (One of which is a POI badge btw) and just scoot around in a large circle from one ewok village to the next... and rack up the xp!

I tried first going to Dathomir.... let me suggest that you do NOT go to Dath for scouting XP. It stinks. Sure there are some large nasties there that can give some good xp... but I never once ran into a critter that gave me the 200's that I found on Endor. The highest I remember getting on Dath was about 135... Endor had LOTS of 190-200s... EVERYWHERE!

Having said, my maskscent DID seem to break more often on Endor... but the XP MORE than made up for it. Plus I got the POI badge to boot!

One other thing... there was one critter there that runs incredibly fast. I have a fast swoop and he was able to keep up with me and would not let go for quite a while. I wasn't able to see what it was... cause I was a little freaked by it... but just watch yourself.

If you are good enough and you want really fast scout xp get into a solo group and do Enraged Rancor missions. When you harvest from them you get 1.5K scouting xp.

Its a good trick, provided your not new to the game, whom could not affordscent/camo clothing (albiet is probably the least expenise bio-clothing) and can afford the what? 8k round trip ticket? Not to mention a vehicle. (although then they could use the 5 charge rental speeders, however like you said there are some animals on Endor I am not sure a regular speeder can outrace) Now everytime you reach a new level in scouting xp it will max out quickly and if there is no one else around poof goes another 8k...
