I’m currently a 4/4/4/3 Scout and last night I started my camp grind (I hate to admit to grinding, but there’s no other way to effectively earn 19,000 Survival experience points). So I’m sitting there in my camp, in the middle of the Nabooian grasslands well outside Theed, crafting camps in practice mode. I may have gone AFK because I had to get something from the car and forgot to go off AFK when I returned, but I was not using macros of any kind.
After crafting a number of camps in practice mode (still sitting in my first camp so it hasn’t been 15 minutes yet) I get to the point where I would click on the Practice button, but nothing happens. I notice that the camp icon is not in the crafting tool’s finished product window anymore. I hit Practice again and again nothing. I hit cancel and it gives me a warning that I’ll lose the materials so I exit out of that.
Then I see a system message saying something about crafting for the purposes of disrupting others could cause my account to be banned. Each time I hit the Practice button another one of these system messages would appear.
Even though I’m not using a macro or trying to disrupt anything, I’m a bit spooked about being falsely accused and getting a possible visit from a CSR so I cancel the crafting process. Just then I see a text balloon to the side of me and there’s someone standing there in novice clothing saying hi and asking how it’s going. In my paranoid state I type back hi and say that I’m just crafting and then, before I even check to see if the person is a CSR I ask if I did anything wrong. Of course my guest just had a case of bad timing and bad fashion and had no clue what I was talking about so I cleared it up and we sat and chatted for a while before I broke camp.
So has anyone else received a system message like this while crafting in their camp? Is there a limit to how many times you can craft in practice mode? Any light that can be shed on this would be welcome since I don’t want to be banned and have to go through the appeal process just because I was sitting in my camp trying to grind out a few extra Survival experience points.

I'll admit to having almost no idea of the real answer, but it would seam that many of the servers suffered an attack of sorts last night. Vehicles, pets, droid, etc wouldn't store and you could keep calling them out. Theed on my server (Kauri) filled up with a few hundred vehicles done by a couple of people. You might have missed a CSR message asking people to do nothing in the vicinity of Theed while they were cleaning up the mess, which is why you saw that message. I guess they were going after people PvP too in Theed, due to the server being in such a sad state.

Hmm, nothing like this has happened to me, but I think it might just be that you were flagged as /afk. I can't think of any reason why crafting in a camp would be considered an abuse. However, you might have just run into something they put in to discourage /afk macroing.
If you are concerned about enough about it, try to talk with a CSR. The worst case would be they tell you not to do it again, and then you wouldn't find out the hard way. Other than that we could get Delta to look into this for us.

you didnt do anything wrong it was some sort of protest thing that ppl were doing that was disrupting the servers to the point it was really buggy (a protest in bad taste i might add) i at that time on ahazi was hunting naboo carn and mt pet would leave the group and disapear but NOT store so i can only conclude this was also due to the ppl that were 'protesting'. just fyi the 'protest' was ppl that hadnt yet gotten a visit from the old man just a bunch of whinners that tried to ruin other ppls fun due to the fact they arnt an uber jedi yet. but enough of the ranting in short you did nothing wrong.

Thanks for your thoughts, everyone. Interesting story about the protests. I had no idea. I'm on the Kettemoor server and I don't know if we had any protesters or not, but it brings sense to the tone of the system warning. I did the camp/craft grind again tonight (and, again, I forgot to take myself off AFK for a while) and I had no issues to speak of.

that doesn't sound good at all. i was thinking of redoing the survival and exp tree of scout to give squad leader a try. the first time i mastered scout it didn't use a macro, just because i hadn't learned of them yet. i hope to be able to use on the second time around doing survival. good luck with that, i hope someone can have an answer for you.

Guys,
I've seen reports on this from a bunch of other servers - it looks like there was some kind of protest or another (maybe these guys couldn't get to New York or something) and the Devs were sending out system warning to not do that type of stuff.
I don't think we'll see it again, and you don't need to worry about it.

My understanding was that the protest was by post pub 9 unlock folks who didn't instantly get an FS slot, and they're unhappy with the way they're being treated to get their FS slot.
