I am changing servers to hook up with some buddies and I am going to start a Scout. I'd like to eventually become a Bounty Hunter.

What does everyone think the best race is for this combination?

I chose Zabrak as my race right off just for the hell of it, and it has turned out to be quite a good decision. With the zabraks mind abilities like Equilibrium I can really last out through fights when it gets close, and also their mind stats are very high which means when starting out as a scout your comparitively small mind pool can regenerate very quickly, whichis great ifyou pick up Medic. With my mind regen so high and medic, i almost never have downtime unless im healing wounds in my camp.

I think if you look at the races, Wookies get some nice Scout bonuses.

Personally, I'm a big fan of playing the race you want to be andforget the bonuses. It probably won't make a significant impact well into the game and I'd rather be a race I find fun then one I feel the need to play because of a few minor perks.

I play a Scout and even though I knew wookies had those bonuses, I chose human. That way, if I ever decide I don't want to be a scout, I won't have to worry about having bonuses that do nothing for me.
