Thread: Tip for making cash as a Scout
Scouts aren't exactly bad ass warriors from the get go so earning money is kind of tough initially, particularly sine your skills like camping aren't big bread winners. Go to a Mission Terminal and choose the delivery missions. Look for a few lower end missions with starting points and ending points in the town you are in. Do a few of those to raise some cash, like around 400 credits. Now go back to the mission terminal and choose some high value missions that start in your current town. Accept two high paying missions that have the same town as each of their destinations. Go to the shuttle port and buy yourself a one way ticket, hop the bus and deliver the goods for an efficient and high paying completion of two missions. You can do this over and over to load up on credits. If you're really choosey, you can keep hitting refresh at the terminal and be picky about your destination if you would like to go to a particular town. I racked up some 4500 credits in about 30 minutes doing this.

You can also take the easy destroy missions such as Durnis and Grubburs early on...move up as your skill with a weapon grows. But get your harvests of hide and bone and sell them on the bazaar.
Keep enough for you to make camps and traps if you want that. But i know that 100 hide and 100 bone are easily being bought up for 1000 credits of higher. Those making armor really need them and wont go out hunting to do it.
Good Luck.
As a scout my wallet is huge already. I have more credits then I know what to do with.
It is simple.....go on the outskirts of whatever town you are in. Kill small animals that raise your scouting and weapons XP. Do delivery missions to pay for skills or get them trained. All of the resources you get from this, place on bazaar. I sell mine for 4c per. Once you have made a name for youself on the bazaar people will start to send you /tells and emails in game asking for bulk orders of hides and bones. Charge what you think is fair, give them a time line when they will be ready and start selling away.
This can be difficult for low level combat skills. So, take on some destroy missions....gubburs on corellia are by far one of the easiest to complete. Take two of these on at a time, get your skills up and your credits will add up. Harvest all of the resources off of the creatures and throw them on the bazaar or keep them in the bank/inventory for your bulk orders you have waiting.
This is the best way to make good money as a scout.
