Thread: Is there something wrong with my Action Stats?

My health bar used to be depleted far before my action bar, but since learning all the skills associated with mid-high lever scout/marksman I find that my action bar will be totally depleted before I even take 50% damage to my health.

I've left my stats at the default for a Zabraki scout, are there changes anyone suggests?

WEll, your 400/400 is maxed for a Zabrak... sucks to be you. There's not really anything that can be done, except move the 1100 up to 1300. I won't suggest that though, unless you will be doing a lot of sampling as well (Artisan).

Beyond that, the only suggestion I would have is start over as a Rodian. With the minimum Stamina of 750, Action is NEVER an issue.

A few things can be happening here.

1) You have wounds. If your regen/effecienty (not visible HAM pools) have wounds, you won't regen as fast, nor be as efficient as using your action points, so you'll use them up faster.

2) You are wearing armor. Armor encumberance puts a serious hit on your regen/efficiency rates, and pools for that matter.Check our the encumerance on your armor.

3) The more advanced styles seem to take more action points (bodyShot2 vs bodyShot1, for instance).

4) Weapons. Make sure you have a well crafted weapon. Though max damage is nice, and generally what I look for as well, note that fancy weapons tend to have higher action costs (unless they are very well crafted). A default CDEF pistol seem to be about 9/21/9 --where 21 is the action cost (or some factor associated with it). You can usually get a tweakedCDEFpistolin the 58 max damage range and a action cost tweaked down to 18 or so. Even lower if you sacrafice max damage. You need to decide if that DL44 with a max damage of, say, 64, and an action of 28 is really worth it to you. (and now I"m making up numbers because I'm at work and they're very fuzzy -- but you get the point).

5) Bug fixes. I swear the first day I played I never used action at all. Granted, I didn't have much in the way of styles either so it might have been a coincidence.

I finally have my a play style that I can hunt successfully. This often means lower con mobs (blue), which also means more hides and less down time due to incaps.

If your problem comes from taking damage from an enemy, the above poster is right- not much you can do.

If, however, you are depleting your action pool by using special moves in combat, check the action special move costs on your weapon. Try shopping for a weapon with higher efficiency. Also, there are power-ups that reduce action costs. (The display actually says it increases them, but this is just confusing wording. If it gives a bonus to action cost, the cost goes down.) You might want to try to have a few of these on hand.

You could also try using the Zabrak ability /equilibrate, which will spread your damage equally among your HAM pools. This will get you action at the cost of health and mind.

It's definitely not wounds.

I DID get a new pistol & new 2nd level skills recently, so maybe I just should just expect it.

Or maybe I just need to expect to camp after taking out a few lairs no matter what level I'm at?

Maybe you should try to benefit from your race. Zabraks strength is willpower -> mind regeneration.

I choosed Zabrak, too. And I'm happy with it. I have some medical skills which compensate my problem with hp and action regeneration.

So far the only skills I've used that actually dip into my mind pool are the novice medic skills I got for when I solo.
