Hello. I have been trying to make camp but I keep getting the message that say that i'm in a no-build zone. Would appreciate any help.

I've noticed that if there are any enemies around when you try to make camp, or are too near some sort of building it won't let you. It seems to be pretty finicky, you just need to get yourself a clear spot away from MoB's and buildings and you should be able to camp.

I've found that you need to get away from any nearby buildings and that if there are any enemies or enemy lair's nearby, it will also keep you from setting up camp. So you need to make sure you are in a clear spot away from buildings and Mob's, and not too close too a town.

Most likely you are too close to town. Try to take missions that are about 1200m or more in distance, then you can make camp pretty much anywhere around your target site. Minimum distance from town is 1000m for camping.

I also found better luck setting up camp on relatively level, flat ground.

Don't forget to remove your camp after you are done - you only get XP for removing it afaik.

I have noticed that after you leave town there is another barrier you must past before you can put down a camp. There is usually another musical score played when you reach this area. If you look at your radar you can sometimes see this change in terrain by a subtle color shift. (at least on Corellia) I have had no problems putting down camps right next to lairs and on a hill side. It will flatten the campground area for you. After you disband the camp, the area will return to it's original state.

But basically you need to get farther out of town. On Corellia usually this is across a river.

This also goes for Houses and Harvestors. You must be far enough away from town for these to be laid down also.
