You get forage in Wilderness Survival I and can also get worm and insect bait to use for fishing.

I was under the impression that Foragin gave Scouts Survival Skill points. I remember reading it. I can't remember where exactly, maybe holocron or a mouseover on the skill "onion"? Whatever the case, It doesn't seem to be that way. Any comments on that?

Personally I've never received any type of XP for foraging and I doubt that you're supposed to. Then again I could be wrong.

I've never gotten any exp from foraging, eating the stuff I've foraged or others eating it. I've sampled most of the stuff I've foraged. Some of it was pretty disgusting.

Foraging has never given Suvival xp. Only camps do that, unfortunately.

Creature Handlers can also use this foraged food for the "feed" option of pets.

Yeah, like everyone has said, scouts can forage. I think it's Survival I or II where you get it. Costs 1000 credits and 2 skill points.

In Beta, the foraged food had fantastic stats, like +200 health and you could eat 3 or 4 at a time.
Now, it has stats that are at most +78 health I believe. And you can only eat one at a time.

Can a scout forage? If so, what can be gained from faraging and where are the best places to forage?

Novice Scouts can't forage, but a skill or two later you can.

I forage all kinds of wacko stuff. Most of it is edible and gives minor stat enhancements. You can pretty much only eat one food at a time because you get full. My inventory is full of all kinds of onions, berries and other junk.

What and where do you forage that makes it good. Right now I don't see the point.

Concerning my previous post, Holocron states in game that foraging gives scouts XP. I /bug'd it. Needs to be changed one way or the other.
