Dear friends,

I was so excited to finally use my campset--found a place where it wasn't blocked. It took me forever to figure out how to pack it up--but I finally did. What I didn't realize until halfway across the planet later was that I no longer had the set. Did I pack it up and just leave it in the wild (meaning it's gone, believe me I went to look and couldn't find where I was) or are they a one-use type of thing. Drat!

Yep, Ned... one use only out of a camp. Should be no problem because you should be getting tons of hides and bones from harvesting anyway.

I remember having the same reaction a long time ago. Really isn't as burdensome as you might think.

use the crafting tool. drag the hide to the hide box in the middle, repeat with bone. click assemble.

Now the next question, I've got lots of hides & bones, but how the heck do I make those into a tent?! I think I have a blueprint, but it looks like I need camoflage tent material or something. It saidI didn't have enough resources. Do I have to convert the hide into camo & the bones into tent framing?! Can I use my own crafting tool, or do I have to go to a crafting station?! Help!

And, folks, don't worry about the Newbie jokes; I don't mind at all. As long as I get the answers!

Just happy to know that I'm not the worst scout in the world--packed up his tent and forgot to pick it up off the ground!

being that they're made from the bloody remains of slaughtered animals I don't believe you'd want to use a tent more than once.

ok...now for my n00b question. I started off as a marksman and later picked up scout. I had bought a tent from the bazaar, used it and it was gone. Same as the original poster. I only have novice scout.

What do I need to get/buy. How do I go from killing the **edit** animals to skinning (or what ever the skill is called) to building my tent. I did xp when I broke camp which I thought was cool.

I don't have any sort of things other than my marksman stuff so no knife or other type of kit.

You need a "generic crafting tool" so you can make traps and camp kits. Check the bazaar for one. Good luck.
