#1 Multi-Camp+30 minutes+1 visit(me)+no healing = 800xp

#2 Multi-Camp+15 minutes+1 visit(me)+no healing = 540xp

#3 Multi-Camp+15 minutes+20 visits(all me)+no healing = 520xp

#4 Multi-Camp+20 minutes+1 visit(me)+no healing = 520 xp

I am still in the process of determining the cut-off for getting the full 800xp.

Also, I was surprised by the results of Camp #2 & 3...im not sure why the xp went DOWN when I was camped for just as long but had more visits. Also, Im not sure why Camp #4 would offer less xp (especially since I camped longer)

It may be because at first I DID have some wounds (though I did not heal them) that were all healed up by the end of Camp #2.

Healing made a big difference in my few trials, even damage. The quality of the camps also made a difference, at least when I tried it. I'm right now experiencing mixed bag results for camping. I think that the server may reward you a fluctuating amount for whatever buggy reason.

this is something that may help you.

(just something that I have noticed..)
If you go afk while you are in your camp, you tend to get less experience.

Ive also noticed grouping with a bot speeds the process.

I'm on SunRunner, and I'm based out of Theed. The scouts there have an interesting idea. They find a heavy traffic area to build their camp (out of Theed, more people go East on Gnort missions), and anyone they see leaving the city, they do a shout out to request you run through their camps on the way to their missions. I believe that non-self visits will help exp go up faster, but I'm not sure. I just know that when I'm heading out on my missions, I do a quick run through the 3-5 camps people have setup on my way out, and then again I take another minute to run back through them on my way back in for more missions. I'd be interested to hear the exp using this tactic.

Good stuff Qaask!

First a question: What does "no healing" mean. No visible HAM healing, or no wound healing?

Here's a possible analysis:

1) No wound healing means you probably get the bare minimum of exp/time. That's a good way to get a baseline. When I DO have wounds, I tend to heal every 4-6 min (seems to depend on what level camp I stand up). These "ticks" also seem to be related to the duration of the camp. Say a tick is every 5 minutes. In that case, 15 min and 19 min would give the same exp (in theory). Given a multi-camp, I seem to recall 5 min, 30sec ticks or 6 minutes. In that case, your 20 min camp may have just short changed your next tick by about a minute -- thus you missed the next pulse of exp, which may have bumped you above 540 to the 600 range. Note, it's very hard to test because you can't SEE the ticks if you don't have wounds -- you have to establish a baseline first.

2) In my experience it's the number of unique visitors that count. Your controlled test with no wounds helps my case. Even better, if the unique visitors rest for at lest one "tick". I'm not sure they have to be there all the time, or just there when YOU tick -- not sure what starts the clock -- if it's per person or per camp (I'd hypothesis the latter). (BTW, CH pets do NOT count as visitors -- or haven't for me thus far.)

3) The difference between test results #2 and #3 isn't particularly significant given that camp quality seems to have some effect on experience.

4) I assume you weren't surveying or foraging? Both of those, of course, eat up action/mind bars, which results in HAM recovery (which may help those who want to maximize exp -- I realize that's not what you were testing though).

Probably I am stating something really obvious, but the number of PC's camping in your camp reduces sensibly the time to max your exp.

I made some tests and i can assure you that WITH NO HEALING, in a multiperson camp kit, 2 chars camping 15 minutes, gives you full exp and5 chars for 6 minutes gives you full exp.

Otherwise, 10 people camping RANDOMLY for 3 minutes gives NO full exp (720 exp)

In conclusion, if someone stays all the time with you in the camp, just divide 30 minutes for the number of players in the camp and you'll know how much time you have to wait, in order to gain full exp.

If the other player walks in and out of the camp ... well you'll need more time (but probably a little more)

With no visitors and approximately 40 self inflicted mind/focus wounds it takes 28 mins for the full 800 xp on a multi camp. I tried 27 mins and only got 760, 24 mins netted me 720 if I remember correctly.
