Thread: How can I get the most camping experience?
I have no problem getting up the other 3 Scouting teirs in the Scouting profession. However, I seem to go a little slower in the Wilderness survival area. I always make the camps for my group, and always have a few camps ready and make them for random people. I even tried running in and out of my own camp till it said I had 62 visitors, because a person told me it would get me more exp, and it didn't.
Is there some trick to getting more camping exp? Is it the amount of people that heal in your camp, or the amount the number of people heal while in your camp, or how long they are in your camp?
I personally just wish that the Wilderness tier was a little more creative than just camping. For a few reasons:
1) Just about everyone is a scout, and needs camping exp, so there are never a shortage of camps to rest in so you will always have a place to heal in the wilderness
2) Once reaching Wilderness IV, there is nothing that adds to your skills that you will use all the time, you just learn to make bigger and supposedly better camps
3) I never use Forage because I have spent hours trying to Forage in all locations and never finding anything, I don't even know what I would do if I found anything, because I don't know what Forage finds!!!!!! I would assume food like berries or something.
4) The Wilderness tier offers nothing to people. Forage is worthless, unless you have pets to feed I would assume you could feed them the food you supposedly find...And who cares about making better camps? Not many. They heal faster and better supposedly, and can heal wounds or something. But that is only two things total out of one tier, that is especially hard to accomplish. I just feel that the Wilderness tier is just not rewarding enough for its effort to attain. Maybe let the Scouts that get that far be able to avoid attacks from aggroed animals, or avoid them better in the first place. That would be worth something.

To build up camping fairly fast make a camp and sit in it and let your character sit there for 30 minutes. Come back and youll have 300 points or so.
i find the more action that goes on in your camp the faster and more XP you get. I usually sample for resources or heal up some woulds etc, and with in 20 minutes i have max xp
