I been Workin on scouting for only a few days now, and was wondering, how do you get camping XP? do you set up a camp then just sit in it? Cause you do not get any points for actually setting one up. Do you need to stay in the camp for a certain amount of time? If so how long, and about how much XP would you get. Will you get more XP if you have other people in your camp?

You need to stay in your camp for a while before your XP will go up. Generally, the longer you stay, the more XP.

Doing things in the camp - healing, tending wounds, etc. increases the XP speed. The more healing, the faster you gain XP.

More people in the camp also helps. More people in the camp doing things speeds the process up significantly.

For example, you setting up a camp with full HAM bars and no wounds and sitting there generally takes about 15-20 minutes to get the full XP for the camp (each type of camp has an upper limit).

You healing yourself from, say, half dead with 10-15 wounds or more, speeds it up by 4-6 minutes.

You there with a group of four people, all of whom are healing themselves or others, you can get the full XP in 3-5 minutes - almost as long as it takes to gain your HAMs back to full.

Experiment with different techniques to figure out what works best for you, and check out some of the scouting guides - there are some here, and I've written one that's on the game guide forum.

The illustrious scout correspondent forgot one vital piece of info.... Disband your camp when you're down with it. Don't just walk out away from the camp.

Not sure if there's a command/macro/action thingy to disband, but you can do it by clicking the little datapad/picture-frame on the ground near your tend and selecting "Disband Camp" from the radial menu.
