All for creatures. Grenades are for people.

Because there are weapons/skills that can change the posture - even of critters.

All,

This is now on my list - higher level traps for Scouts and Rangers being able to affect people and NPCs.

I respectfully beg to differ. Creatures do change postures. Take the Kahmrra, I hunt them often. At night, they lay down when they sleep, During the day when resting, they sit, when alerted they stand, when nervous they walk and when attacked they run (and let me tell you boy do they run).

If you stalk one at night and come up on it sleeping, you have a great opportunity. Throw a dart trap. He will have to go through 2 posture changes. If you hit with the trap you have that much more time (it takes him longer to get to his feet) to shoot him before he stomps YHB. If he does make it to his feet you might want to consider throwing a wire trap and get even more time.

If the only creatures you ever see are standing or running you might consider working on your trapping skills.
