OK, I'm nota noob, as I'm working on Tier 4 of Scouting. However, I do have aquestion based on someting I read on another board completely unrealted to scouting.I've been using a General Crafting Tool to create my traps, but I was wondering if this is fine, or should I be using a Weapon, Droid and General Crafting tool (I think that's what it's called). I'd get the actual name, but I'm at work and don't have access to that information.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's fine.

I've been using only a general crafting tool from day one.

Shark,

They're right. The only diff is that if you are at one of those stations and have artisan skill you could theoreticaly use an experimentation point on the trap. But we still haven't figured out if that does anything.

Stick with your generic crafting tool.

Thanks, everybody, for your help. I thought as much, but was just wondering if one would give me better traps, since they all seem to be 7%, or so. Thanks once again

Hiya Delta,

I tend to agree with you, that in theory, experimented traps would be more effective. ChunkyMunky who hangs out in the Ranger board disagrees, and believes that experimented traps are better.

I was wondering, see you are the Scout Correspondent, if you have heard anything, read anything that either confirms or denies this, from a Developer perspective?

I've tried making some experimented ones this morning, and I can see getting the Decay to higher levels, but I can't budge the Quality number, which I'm guessing is what would make the difference between a regular old General Crafting Tool (GCT) trap, and a Experimented trap.

I'm getting anywhere from 0-19% on my traps and camps, depending on the quality of hides I am using.

Drez,

I have not - but I can always ask. I'll see if I can get this info.
