I was wondering if foraging on tougher planets yielded better stuff. Anyone know? Or is it pure random?

It's random. Nothing better on the other worlds.

I thought they were supposed to be looking into a bug that gave you that message that some of it was discarded because inventory was full when it really wasn't.

There is supposed to be some stuff you can forage that is rare or something along those lines. But one of the devs suggested that it might be a problem with one of the rare items that's supposed to be forageable. Any new info on this?

As far as foraging on the harder planets, I'm pretty sure it's the same stuff as always. Tho I haven't been able to forage and get more then one item in quite a while. I'm a master scout and the info for that says you could get up to 3 items per attempt. I had that happen a few times but since the big patch, I've never gotten more then one item per attempt.
