I think there needs to be a short cut to log in to play the game. I know my computer is not the latest virson so it takes me 10 minutes to log on to the game. I know for a fact that my computer is a bit slow because everytime I boot up the game i get the message that the game might not work. What I am talking about is seeing the same crap time after time before logging on. Can't there be adevise that allows you to pick one character and it just logs you in on the planet. Instead I have towaitand choose wither toexcept agreement, then go throught the different screens, wait to see if there is new downloads, pick character then go off to the planet. I want to click and just get into the game maybe one screen to get downloads.

Cig,

When you hit the "A long, long time ago..." you can hit escape. That's the quickest way to log in.

As for the SOE, Lucasarts and SWG screens - you've gotta sit through 'em.

The Devs have absolutely no say in this - it came down from the hand of God (GL or so I'm told) himself. Why the need to constantly advertise on a game I already bought, I don't know.

Sorry, bud.

I think he is referring to the launchpad, before the game begins. I also have been annoyed with having to hit "I accept", typing in my password to login in, then hitting play, and getting the error message that my it might not work on my computer (processor too slow) every time. Waiting for the Sony and Lucas Arts logos once the game starts is not nearly as annoying.

There is the AutoPlay in the bottom right corner of the launchpad. Make sure and choose a character in the selection on the top, then check the Autoplay. The next time you Hit Accept and type your password. As soon as it's done checking for patches it will automatically press play for you and login the last character you had selected.

That's at least what I do since I have just one character, so all I ever do is the Accept then type password and hit enter. Then when the Intro comes on I hit ESC.

Beyond that not much that can be done. Just curious, but the message you get is it memory related? It might be possible to upgrade you memory a little to at least get rid of the message.

Dal,

The message I believe he is referring to is a memory one - it was added shortly after launch.

The autoplay thing is great, except you never get enough time to the read the patch notes.

Read the patch notes!

In my case it is a processor speed (everything else is fine), and I don't really need to know my processor is slower than 900 every time I launch the game.

What I find funny is that every time I log in the system tells me the game may not run because of Processor speed (it claims I have a 0Mhz. processor) Im running a friggin 2.2 gig processor for criminys sake so whats the deal with that?
