I desperately need it, I want to find a link to a beastiary so i can see what spawns on what planets and hunt the animals that drop it accordingly. any suggestions?

There is always the Peko Peko Albatross. CL 145, hits for over 1000 every time, and traps don't work. I tried to solo one and was back at the cloning center in a hurry. I have heard that you loot a feather off it that is used in the R.I.S. armorsmith quest. But the giant peko is the biggest thing that I have seen that you can solo.

bang for the buck would be kaduu's not much time invested so you get less in amount but more in frequency. There are also some creatures on Yavin 4 that look like dogs but have large quantiy of avian meat. Then again i have tracking4 as a ranger.

Probably the biggest critter to drop avian would be the Giant Peko Pekos on Naboo. I don't know of anything larger.
