My proposed "reorganization" to the survival tree: Move the cert for multiperson camp kit 2 the first block, and move the cert for improved(can't quite think of the name right now) to the second 3rd block. This way those of us trying to get to master scout(for bh) will be able 2 use the more advanced camp( i myself will probobly never use it since i don't plan on going ranger). It would also give us a much needed xp boost. Is their no other way 2 get survival xp? I'm all for adventuring around but sitting in camp fro 15-20 minutes is jst plain boring.

sheesh people on these boards take things way 2 seriously, i love being a scout i just think that the survival tree needs a little redisign to make it easier for people.

Jeez people are so in a hurry to go through that survival tree. I did the entire tree in two nights of play, because i had my wonderful wife to come sit in the camp with me and talk. Did 10000 camp xp in a little over 3 hours. Of course i let the camp go to long sometimes.

Take the time and smell the logs burning. Talk to some people. The only way camping is boring if your some solo antisocial grinder. I have now gone through the survival tree twice! I can say that both times I enjoyed sitting and helping people out. Since I'm a Native of tatooine and an Imperial, i liked camping out at the imperial oasis to help people running through there. Met alot of people, helped alot, thats what survival is all about.

This is an issue that the guys take seriously.

Survival takes significantly less time now than it did even a few months ago. With enough craftable materials and a friend or two, you can grind through the entire tree in about 4 hours. That's opposed to 11 DAYS when I did it back in July. And I took off work and was literally playing 13-15 hours a day on the weekends and 8 hours on workdays (when i didn't take off).

And keep in mind - you can use (but not make)the camps that are a box higher than your skill level. So if you're working on Survival 2, if you can buy (or have a friend make) you the Multiperson camps, you can use 'em. If you're working on Survival 4, you can use the Improved camp.

It takes time, but like JB and I are fond of saying - it's the journey, not the destination, that's the fun part.
