Thread: Best Source of Wolly Hide?

Was wondering what the best planet/creature for harvesting wooly hide in bulk. I know quality shifts, but am looking to gathering alot of the stuff. Thanks.

Womp rats and the like, not an abundance soruce ie wont get many units, but on tatooine they are everywhere!

If you're looking for wooly in bulk, I'd say go to Endor or Rori. On Endor, mantigrues and gurrecks drop wooly. On Rori, for only Yoda knows why, tortons drop wooly.

I think your best bet will be Bantha's on Tat. Lot's of 'em, and the big ones drop a lot of hide.
Sio's list is also good.

Gualamas on Naboo drop it also, and you can get mission for gualamas. As a master scout i can harvest 24 units from a fat and healthy one.9-12 spawns per mission. Thats 200 - 300 wolly hides per mission.

Hiant peko peks on Naboo also have hides in good amount. As a master ranger can get 50 to 80 from one giant peko peko.

1st off its Wooly.... 
2nd Im still a little new i am 4/4/4/4 marksman but I like to get Peko Peko lairs on Naboo
realy easy to kill and drop like 30 hide

On Yavin you can get the hides from Mammians, although you will need some good combat skills too. This can be very good if you know an armorsmith that makes padded. The main requirement for advanced padded segments is Yavinian Wooly.

If you can gather together a large hunting group, and you're lucky enough to stumble on one, the peko peko albatross drops 500+ units of wooly off of a single corpseif you're a scout with 4/0/4/0. More, of course, if you're a master or have ranger skills.
Of course, you need to have a hunting group with serious power, like master combat types, master CHs, and a couple of master level healers along. And be buffed up. And hope you don't get multiple KDs from the alb that send you to a cloning facility.
