Thread: Camp or Building.

I put this message her really for lack of a better category. I use my camps quite frequently to heal myself and my pets on my often very extended solo hunting trips. My biggest complaint was that i could never heal my battle fatigue in the camp (i heal wounds of all type as i have basic medic and entertainer skills). Then it hit me.... I have a small generic house that i have re-deeded several times and set up as a temporary base on different planets just for the purpose of being safe overnight and to heal my battlefatigue.

Is there any reason i cant re-deed this house everytime im done healing and then just "pop" it up like a camp site when i need to heal or rest... Any reason this is not a viable strategy? other than needing some flat terrain which is probably not any more difficylt to find than the terrain thats too close to creature lairs (can build there but not camp).

Looking for opinions either way

Other than the fact it costs you money each and every time you do it. Nope, go for it.

Altho you will find some planets won't let you drop a building. Not sure which ones, or even if there are any anymore, but I seem to recall there were.

How much battle fatigue we talking about? Anything under 30 is ok, anything over 100 effects performance, anything over 300 is a goldmine for entertainers.

Personally, I don't wander the wilds that much I can't swoop into someplace and crash for the nite, or find a cantina to drop my BF.

Novel concept, let us know how it works

I'm fairly sure that Yavin and Dathmoor are still no-build planets. I don't know about Lok or Dantooine. I am completely certain that all five starting worlds can be build upon.

Guys,

As far as I can recall, Endor, Yavin 4 and Dath are the only no-build planets.

And like JB said, no problem with the dropping the house, other than it costing you dough each time to do it.

I recall reading some moron actually takes a building to Krayt canyon and uses it to fight around, through, whatever so he can solo krayts.

Sissy boy he is. This was pre-uber krayts. And before you try it, you run in solo, the creature will heal totally. Waste of time sorta.

LOL......i just think a place to store the harvested meats in, and to see how much we amassed would be a good idea...

Actually I have done this on hunting trips before vehicles. I used to hunt in the far corners of naboo so I picked up a small round naboo house,(takes only 1 lot ), and dropped it around my hunting spot, also dropped a few harvies. I made that house my cabin and named it so. it was alot of fun, to have people drop by in the middle of no where, entertain, heal and just talk. the maint fees aren't even all that bad considering its up for a few days and its a safe log out spot. I say go for it. I havent done this since vehicles came out, but I found it worth while.

What would be nice if the devs came up with a perma camp, kinda like our top level camp, but make it have a "small" maint fee and let us pop it up for safe log out/re-entry. I wonder if this is feasable or worth it?

i have often thought of placing a small house on dantooine, my one remaining question is ..... Does a house have to be from the same planet your placing it on? ie .. can i place a small naboo house on Dant.?

thanks

I believe on dant you can place any kind of house, not sure about the other non starter worlds. as far as the starter worlds go you can only place a house from that world, for ex; tatooine= tatooine house, etc.
