Just make a special batch of Hurri-Shine. Maybe the lower barametric pressure will give it that extra punch you've been going for

Hurricanes are proof even Mother Nature thinks Florida is all borked up.
But you can come to my house Hakai. Got floor space for ya, and two empty spots on the router.
Just bring some rice balls.
Failing that, where do I send the plywood??

And to think those of us in Pennsylvania will be complaining about the rain that the storm causes. Sure you'll have death destruction and all kinds of mayhem. But we here dont care about that. We care about us and what the storm will mean to our sump pumps and the mold it will cause in our basements. So when your sitting in those Class 4 hurricane winds you think about us up here who will have to deal with rain. We are the true victims of this storm

if you think that's bad, you should have heard all the news stations that were based out of Tampa when Charlie came around.
*after Charlie hit Punta Gorda instead of Tampa*
"Well....looks like the hurricane missed Tampa. I think we'll all go home now"
(meanwhile all the people in Polk county are staring at their TV's dumbfounded as the hurricane slowly makes it's way toward them)
*the aftermath*
"Yes, Punta gorda was struck hard.....we need to remember, this could have been us....."
"all of this suffering could have happened to us...."
"Tampa was missed, but luckily (unlike punta gorda) we were spared the devistation...."
"We need to help all those in Punta Gorda, becuase right now it could have been us getting aid from Punta Gorda....."
(i kid you not, this crap was on every damn station for like a week....each one saying...."we're the lucky ones/ this could have been us/ lets move on....." it was sickening.
and that part about Polk county, they quit coverage the moment that the hurricane passed Tampa....that wasn't a joke.
My dad was like. "What the hell?!!" no one in Polk county had a clue about where the hell the hurricane was becuase their power went out, and the only info they had was from a single radio station.

Yeah that's why it's important to have actual meteorologists who care about the entire viewing area working at your tv station........when severe thunderstorms break out here.....we don't care if you have 8 people in your town....we're interrupting broadcasting, and staying on air for you until the storm passes....even if it does upset the other 300,000 people in our viewing area....... You guys were lucky that Frances died off a bit......she was a monster when she got going in the Atlantic...i feel sorry for the east coast once she moves north....it's going to collide with that cold front and it's going to rain like it's going on of fashion.......

Well I hope you have water, I was in Michigan during the blackout in the north-east. By a strange quirk of fate the local power station was taken off-line before it was endangered. However, the area got most of its water from Detroit, and they were out of power for three days. So we had power but were without clean water for over four days (they needed some time to clean up the water treatment plants).
