Thread: Advertising For Scouts Where ?

I've seen a number of people advertising for the services of scouts to get them lots of hides/bones/meat etc. But where can us Scouts advertise our services so that consumers with lots of money to throw our way for an hour or two's work can find us, hire us and pay us.
Personally I'd love to be getting 100-200k for an hour or two's work. It would help me to get xp on the hunt and help better define my character from an RPG point of view.

The amount you're looking to get paid sort of scares me. I'm a BE, and we need a fair bit of meat, but the only way we could reasonably pay that amount is if you can hunt Dath Carnivore at the time. Being able to pull in 10k of meat on a single buff (music included) means the 10-20 CPU we can usually afford adds up ... but only to enough to give another option to hunting for buff-makers.

Selling meat to BE's is not the way to make the most money, although they need something. You can easily make a few hundred K's of it by searching trade forums of your galaxy or listening to others to see if there is 75+cpu meat around.

LOL sorry you misunderstand. I don't charge that much, but I've seen people advertising for scouts on other servers willing to pay that much for just an hour or so's work. Dath avian meat at the moment apparently is 200-300cpu
Im just looking for a way for people to know about us Scouts, and those of us who are willing to traipse across the galaxy for or with people to harvest resources. Whether they pay us on a resource scale or time spent working scale.

O, ok. Try advertising on the trade forums, or just get meat and look for people to buy it, maybe advertise yourself.

Under the Master Ranger tag in my sig you'll find the most recent public advertisement I placed on the Wanderhome trade forums. Though there was little response on the board. I got a large number of in game tells and g-mails. In the end I was making around 1m a week. After a while though I got a bit burnt out chasing critters for other people but I'm sure I'll pick it up again once money gets tight.
Expect to hear from ALOT of Doctors and Armorsmiths. Other professions come and gobut might provide nice lucrative offers.
Placing the add on the forum and then linking it to your signature is a great way of drumming up business. Especially if you post on the boards enough to get attention.
Even if you don't it can still be a lucrative deal. I turn down offers almost daily and I have barely reached 500 posts in a year. That's with 0 in game advertising.
