Does anyone use a mount?
I like them because it makes me feel more "in touch" with my environment and my "scoutiness"...
So I have a beautiful HUGE Carrion Spat named "LilBit"... and we go everywhere together. But I need something a little tougher for the places I'm going to be spending time in the near future.
I notice that I should be able to own a Bol. Does anyone happen to have one? They seem to be a great choice!
Any ideas?

Don't have master scout no more
(I miss it though and want to pick up ranger soon) so I don't remember the bol CL. No pets from the wild are strong, and your best bet is to get a BE level 10 mount, because most or all mountshave 1000-ish HAM.

...all except the Bol... who has 9500 HAM... which brings me to my question. <smile>

No it's not. But I have some CH I can use. Got it especially for my mounts.
Due to the lag in spawning critters across the landscape as I travel, creature mounts are ideal for me. Not fast enough to have me riding through the middle of a bunch of nasties... but not as slow as running. Makes it really nice for my Milk runs.

A bol would probably be high 20s, given the stated HAM ... actually, 35% kinetic, maybe even over 30. All right, I just looked it up, it's 29. For that CL, a BE could put together something with light armour and 60% kinetic. I should know ... I made a CL 32 creature just playing around with Merek Harvester DNA, 60% kin / light armour. BE is always interesting...

If you get a wild tamed bol you want a lesser plains bol they are cl 10, realistically though your carrion spat will do as good a job for you as any non ch pet.
If you are after something for variety perhaps a BE Bantha or Cu Pa would be in order.
