Thread: Recon mission errors?

I've been doing recon missions, and (not every time, but frequenty) i get a message that says "mission incomplete" as i approach the first waypoint of the mission. Can anyone tell me what, if anything, i'm doing wrong, and how i can fix it?

Mike,
It's a bug- we're not exactly sure why it keeps happening. But we've got that on our list of bugs to pay attention to.

Been broke forever. And don't do the Explorer missions either. The payoff is low, they take forever, and you do not get a waypoint to the critters.

He isn't. He is doing the best way to get cash as a noob IMO. Recon missions are from the exploration terminals, but are the 2nd tab. You just have to go to the WP and you get around 1.2k. That is 2.4k in a few minutes.

if you are doing a combat profession too, just harvest all critters. if not, riding around with mask scent on hard planets is a good way.

Wasn't saying he was doing the explorer missions, just a handy warning against doing them.
The entire explorer term is a waste of pixels. If they disappeared tomorrow, who would notice?
The best way to get scout xp, I agree, kill and harvest, harvest and kill. Do not take insane missions where you kill maybeone creature then die. Instead take missions you can complete, being alive is good. Take two missions in the same direction. On the way out, take out some easy creatures. On the way in, do the same. XP is xp is xp. Even single points count. Always always harvest - even in groups, as the xp does not drop. Yes, you get less harvest, but the xp is the same. Group with a pet or droid, the xp is higher. Always use traps. If you get to the point a creature can't hurt you, trap it senseless. Then kill and harvest. Amazing what happens when you do all three, the xp comes rolling in.
Being better in a combat class gets you better missions with more xp. Pick one class and master. Unless you are a BH, but then who cares?...you never use scout again. Real hunters find master marksman is freaking useless. Being a master in any combat class is much better than trying to be a master marksman and dabbling in several weapons.
Get off of freaking Tatooine. There are several other "starter" planets. Some are never ever crowded. Uncrowded = more spawn, more XP.
Aside from camping - there is no reason why someone can't master a weapon and scout in less than 10 days of casual play. Well, 4 weekend days of more play thrown in there. Even with camping, and no macros, you can do it in 15 days. Macros are for morons anyhow.
Have fun - remember, the xp will come. Go hunting.

/sigh You don't get BH, never have, never will. They are supposed to be skilled in many weapons. They are decent in PvP with torso shot, eye shot, fire knockdown, and confusion shot, but, I agree, theyare not as good with pistols than a pistoleer is, same with carbines. But I chose B because it was fun, not b/c it was strong.
And on the matter of Scout xp, listen to JB.

Yeah Hakai they do exist i think in 4 cities. But if you walk up to it they have a barker droid next to it screaming
"Do you really want to do this? Shouldnt you be on dath grinding jedi?"
