Im about to have enough XP for 1 of these(yeah i know, i spent too much time gaining xp with the other professions i have to get the scout ones DUMB!).

what i want to know is, what do you think would get me XP faster? since the maskscent doesnt work for bantha dung, would it be more wise to take hunting IV? are you able to extract multiple resources from the creature? i read that somewhere, but dont know if its true because im not there yet. :-p


any help would be appreciated. i only have a few k to go for it. kill a couple herds, and sit in a few camps and im there in no time!

Hunting IV is good +10 bonus to harvest and creature knowledge.

I would go that way unless you are planning on being a squad leader whcih doesnt require this skill.

i read somewhere (i think on this board, but we all know how much dung is posted on here) that hunting IV lets you harvest more than once? or is that actually a ranger skill? or none of the above?

Hunting IV just allows you to know more about the creature and potentially harvest more items than what the minimum is listed. I went Explore IV personally before Hunting IV because of the +15 camo. I don't get detected much at all running through packs of aggro yellow-red /con mobs and I find that more useful than a couple more hide or bone in my backpack.

Currently the ability to harvest more than 1 type of resource from a corpse doesnt work. So even Rangers (which should be able to do that) can only get one resource type harvested.

I'd say to base your choice upon whether you'd rather have the Hunter title or the Explorer title, cause the abilities either one of them grant are nothing to write home about.
