I dont get this game sometimes I mean as long as I stand still and look at the world I am on its wonderful. But doing things has become Taxing and almost Worthless. I heard that mask scent was an esey way to get scout exp. um so far I have yet to get a single point from useing it and evey yellow MOD that pops up sees me weather I am running walking siting or prone. I fallow my maps and see yellow MODS all over the place and for the most part kill them with no issues I am abotu 1/2 way through marksman and have good skills and equip I see red and for the most part stay away. Last night I was on tatioen or how ever its spelled and I was kickin the crap out of red Kreetles one maybe 2 shots each killed a whole pack b4 they had a clue what hit them and then I go walking a bit more and theres one yellow MOD all by its self so I attack it well it turned out to be whats called a Mound Mite and needless to say with out it even draining one of my pools compleatly it not only incapasated me but killed me too. Now maybe I am wrong but I thought that red was bad and yellow was easier. Also I was running some Imp missions on Naboo and I get off a shuttle and with out even seeing it I was mauled and murdered by the Naboo gaurds and to this day I dont know why all i heard was the music that you get when you attack or get attacked and then I was in cloneing chamber. Now I understand the need for it to be a hard game I am not complaining about that. All I am looking for is some concisatance. If a Rill is yellow and I can kill it without much trouble Then a Mound Mite that is yellow should be as easy to kill. Can anyone offer any suggestions to get me through this god awfull prof. of scout and on to my destany and the Emps. best bounty hunter.

woah, you have some issues here bud...... first things first, red means agressive creatures, yellow means non-agressive ( most of the time) that means reds will attack you on sight, and yellow will not...... it has nothing at all to do with difficulty. press /con on the creature to see its difficulty. next thing, you do not get any xp from yellow monsters doing mask scent. they have to be aggresive or red mobs to get xp from them.ok? just because it is red doesnt mean it is hard, i have seen red stuff that i kill in two shots easily..... then some yellow creatures are 20 times my size and kill me almost instantly if i provoke them. target something and there should be some colours around its name. green= really easy. blue= relatively easy. grey=tough ( your level ) yellow= extremely tough. red= instant death. i hope that helps you out a bit

thank you so much for pointing that out this is my first real dive into any type of game like this my on line game b4 this consised off Madden, Diablo 2, and the War craft stuff this all prity new to me and it was not well explained in the manual I guess I now know why I got my azz kicked by a Mite. But what about the stuff getting killed by gaurds and not even seeing it any ideas and why I would die without loseing a compleat pool first.

You may have been hit so hard 'your ancestors felt it' (to quote Asheron's Call). It's possible the last hit took away the last of one of your bars and killed you as well before the client had time to update your screen. That's just a guess.

To clarify the colours question. On your radar you will see yellow and red dots. These are non-kos and kos respectively. It is no indication of the mobs toughness.

When you have a mob targetted and are looking at it, you will see it's HAM bars and a little star next to it. This star can be green (way below your level), light blue, dark blue (perfect for no downtime killing), white (your level), yellow, and red (will probably kill you). Note that these /con colours are approximate, and you will find that you can kill some yellows, while other whites kick your butt.
