Thread: A simple solution for the 60% harvesting nerf
Simply make it a GROUP command that canbe turned on/off by the group leader.
If there are more than one Scout in the group harvesting, great, turn it on. If there isn't, fine, turn it off.
It's that simple. Or rather COULD be that simple.

We asked for this feature so **edit** and stop complaining about it. It is not that bad, just harvesta coupleextra creatures to make up for the difference. Its better than having to ninja loot to get a piece of the action!!!!! ![]()
Besides when was the last time you were the only scout in group??? Almost every combat player as scout as a novice skill (for the creature to hit bonus), so therefor they want scout xp too!!

I almost alwasy go out with a CH/Medic friend. He HAD to be a Scout to get to CH. But he has no desire/need to harvest animals. So that means I have to lose 40% of the kill?

I don't mean to flame you, I can understand how this would look easy.I'm actually with you, this would be a good idea.What you are asking is to add a module in 2 places, one in the group handler and one in the professions handler. I don't know if that is how it is split up butI'm sure there isa lot more going on than adding an option to a menu. The code that runs when you select that needs to work as well....

This is after Darth has posted the same request on three seperate posts in the Scout forum, as well as gotten into a long debate with me about it. I can understand why some people are annoyed hearing it for the umpteenth time.
Guys, don't flame the nice complainers. Just flame the whiners.

More to the point...
This would be good, just temper it with the fact it may take a while, therefore, we will have to find a way to live with this for a while.
Ok.....we was allow his opinion, and I'm not??? I didn't "flame" him! I merely stated my opinion about the harvesting. The **edit** was $T FU in case anyone wondered.... I didn't call names nor did I degrade him, which is a flame. I was just forceful with my opinion. If your to sensitive to read my opinion then dont read public forum..... Enough said...drop it
I have grouped on every planet, beta and live, there was always been a scout other than me in the group. Most times we rotate the harvesting, others it becomes ninja harvest time, daggum unruley punks. So it becomes a fight to get a piece of the scout xp. This cures that occurance. If you want your full 100 of the harvest, have your buddy loot as well and give the resources to you,sonowyou get 120% of the harvest!!! Sounds good to me!!!
It doesn't matter.. no matter how you slice it we're getting less. Her 60% and my 60% do not add up to 100% of what I was getting solo. As of last night it was only 62% of what I was able to get solo the night before. I can solo 4 white conned banthas just as easily as with another person. Finding tougher mobs that yield more isn't doing anything because we're still getting less from THAT mob as we would have gotten prior to the update, and spending more time doing it to get less.
Not to mention that I don't know of any mobs higher than banthas that produce tatooine wooley hide, which is a required resource for specific schematics.
The decrease in resources harvested solo HAS to be a bug. If it's like this on purpose then my reason for being a Ranger has been nullified in my eyes.
